ENERGY STAR® is an energy efficiency program launched in 1992 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It is now jointly sponsored by the EPA and the U.S. Department of Energy. A product bearing the ENERGY STAR® logo will use less energy and save you money on energy costs.

Products qualifying for the ENERGY STAR® label are available in 40 categories and thousands of models, including home appliances, office equipment, commercial and industrial equipment and even new and existing homes and commercial buildings.

The ENERGY STAR® logo can be found on everything from light bulbs to refrigerators, and its presence identifies a product as being from 10 to 50 percent more energy efficient than products without the ENERGY STAR® logo.

Why Choose ENERGY STAR® Appliances?

Choosing ENERGY STAR® qualified appliances for your home is a smart decision – they use less energy, save money and help protect the environment.

ENERGY STAR® appliances not only use less electricity, they also use much less water. Front-loading clothes washers, for instance, use less water – up to 20 gallons – than top-loading washers per load. All ENERGY STAR® qualified appliances have to meet a government standard of efficiency over and above non-qualified products. Look for the ENERGY STAR® logo when purchasing your next appliance.Shop ENERGY STAR® Appliances

Change to LED Bulbs and Save!

LED lighting products produce light up to 90% more efficiently than incandescent light bulbs. ENERGY STAR® LED bulbs are subject to very specific requirements designed to replicate the experience you are used to with a standard bulb—so they can be used for a wide variety of applications. ENERGY STAR means high quality and performance, particularly in color quality, light output and long-term performance.
