Why India needs it? The railway is the backbone and is one of the main income sources for Indian economy. Railway offers cheap and vital travel services for 22 million people a day on about 9000 trains but the passengers have complained about its poor services. Existing railway system is too old and it lack in terms of modernisation. Currently, India’s fastest train is “Vande Bharat Express ”which runs at an operational speed of 160 kilometre per hour and average speed of 100kilometre per hour. Bullet train will be a game changer for India as it runs at a speed of 350kilometre per hour which is almost similar speed to flight and it will cost less to the passengers and will also improve the travel experience of the passengers as they can reach their destination in a very short span of time. Existing train takes 8 hours to travel from Ahmedabad and Mumbai but bullet train will cover the distance in around 3 hours.
